Letter From Anna Eshoo

Today I received an e-mail from my Congressional representative Anna Eshoo (D-CA). This letter from Anna Eshoo is hilarious. The first paragraph alone is breathtaking:

Thank you for contacting me about enforceable open Internet rules. As an unswerving advocate for a free, open and accessible Internet, I wholeheartedly agree with the action taken by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on February 26th to reclassify broadband using the strongest possible legal footing, Title II of the Communications Act. This is an issue I have championed in Congress for a decade.

Got that? A free, open and accessible Internet requires government regulation! Only in certain parts of Washington, D.C. does that make any sense. The full letter is below as a jpeg file. Click here for a pdf version.
