Today marked an unusual confluence of threads on X (Twitter). Michael Strain and Bryan Riley both wrote extensively about protectionism, free trade, and related issues. Bryan leads the Free Trade Initiative at the National Taxpayers Union. Michael is Director of Economic Policy Studies & Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Both are highly prolific and very good economists.
